Many studies have shown that tall people are more successful business and relationship wise. But is it the truth? I have some of my own thoughts to share on this subject.
Some might consider this to be anecdotal evidence since it is not a scientific study but I just feel like sharing it.

The first thing I want to start off with is my experience with tall people in school. There was one guy in my class who grew faster than others and was the tallest one in the class. He was also much more mature, intelligent and stronger than other classmates. He used to bully others and command them around, taking the role of the leader. It’s funny that I outgrew him later when he stopped growing. He still is very strong and intelligent but doesn’t have the “leader” vibe he had around him while he was a young teen.
Currently I often hang out with businessmen, lawyers, project managers and people of similar professions. I’ve found that a lot of them are pretty tall or at least taller than average. I don’t know if this has a relation with their high job rank but it could be since many of relatively young people who are even taller than me (around 6’4”) are already working in large companies while other shorter ones I know (below 6′) work average jobs or are completely jobless.
There are exceptions of course. I know some short people as well who are very successful and wealthy for their age, but the number is relatively low.
What is even more interesting, in my country the president is very tall (around 2 meters) and most of men who work in the government are at least average height. Again, I don’t know if there is a correlation between height and profession or is it just that my country generally has pretty high average height.
Personally, me being pretty tall myself (6’2”) I feel good but I can’t really tell if I had any major advantages in my profession (personal trainer) other than people telling me “Wow! You’re tall!” after they haven’t seen me for ages.
