Hanging is one of the basic grow taller exercises you can do to benefit your height increase. While it is not necessarily a way how to grow taller it is a way of increasing height and physically getting taller.
Why does it work and how does it work?
During the day your body compresses and becomes shorter. You can check this by measuring your height in the morning and in the evening. Usually your body will be taller in the morning. You see, while you lie in the bed the gravity is applied horizontally to your body and it gets pushed down in the bed. However, during the day since your body is vertical it gets pulled down vertically thus compressing your spine and shortening you up to a few centimeters.
The same way gravity makes you shorter, it can also make you taller. Just hang from the bar and let it do the rest. This is also a good way to train your arms. If you don’t want that, just use the gloves that can be attached to the bar. Be sure to relax your spine during this and feel your body stretching. Rotate your hips and torso so you can feel your ligaments and tendons stretch. Do this for about 15 minutes a day by hanging as long as you can in each set. You can adjust the grip you are using to your liking.
