Youngsters and teens often ask these days if it is possible to grow taller after puberty? If you want to know the answer to this question, you should first understand what puberty actually is. From wikipedia:
Puberty is the process of physical changes by which a child’s body becomes an adult body capable of reproduction.
Therefore the important factor in this case is the onset of capability of reproduction. What does this have to do with growth? Well, during puberty growth hormones are especially active and this is when children experience the biggest height increase. Usually puberty ends at about age of 17, however bones for men continue to grow even until 25. Only at that age one could say that a boys body is fully formed. This is not a wives tale as well. From my personal experience, a doctor advised me to postpone jaw surgery until age of 25, since that is when bones have fully formed. After all, even wisdom teeth fully come out about that time.
Can you grow taller after puberty? Absolutely. From personal experience most guys continue growing until age 18-20. Some stop growing faster, some grow well into their twenties. Girls mature faster, therefore stop growing about age of 16-17. There are, of course, exceptions.
Conclusion: Puberty definitely plays an important role in growth and height increase, but you can still grow taller after puberty.

Ever wondered why sometimes tall parents have shorter children? I believe this is the classic case of nature vs nurture. Sure, you are given the “height genes” from your parents, but if you are not nurtured in the right way – via exercises, diet and lifestyle.
Each of us have a certain “cap”, how tall we can grow naturally, however most of the time this cap is never reached due to lack of correct nurture.
In this post we are going to discuss the importance of diet in relation to growing taller and what you should do to maximize your natural growth potential!

Seeing this picture today I thought – what about couples where the girl is taller than the guy? What do women think about dating or having a relationship with a shorter guy? Well, for an answer I browsed around Yahoo answers and some forums and here is some interesting stuff I found out.
Here are some interesting quotes from women and men:
in my country, (Russia) it is normal to date people who are shorter than you and that works both ways like i am 5’6 and i have dated a guy who is 5’3 and that all depends if your uhh…. oh HOT enough to pull it off!
Some women care and some women don’t. It also may depend on how much of a height difference there is. If you are one to two inches shorter, then that might not matter, but if you are much shorter, then you will probably be rejected by many, but not all women.
I dated someone that was shorter than me and I hated it. I hated him, actually.
It all depends on if you’re comfortable with each other and if you really like him.

I see many people advertising the so called “grow taller pills” online that are supposed to magically increase your height and make you grow taller upon consumption. Do they work? If yes, why isn’t the whole world using them yet? If not…why are they still being sold?
The truth is, 100% of these grow taller pills are pure scams! Yes, vitamins and dietary supplements can benefit height increase by supplying your organism with the necessary nutriments and giving your body energy to grow taller. However, that does not in any way shape or form guarantee growth. What I mean is – there is no direct correlation between growing taller and consuming these pills.

Leg lengthening surgery is also known as Symmetric Extended Limb Lengthening. The surgery is expensive (at least $20k). Here are some prices for specific countries:
U.S. $65,000 (ISKD)
